Philadelphia, Pa. - Four Atlantic 10 men's soccer players earned a chance to compete at the next level when they were drafted by Major League Soccer teams. Rhode Island midfielder Geoffrey Cameron, the 2007 A-10 Midfielder of the Year, and Saint Louis midfielder Brian Grazier were drafted in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft held in Baltimore, Md. on Jan. 18, while Rhode Island's Danleigh Borman and Lukasz Tumicz were picked up in the supplemental draft a week later.

Cameron, a 2008 MLS Combine participant, was selected in the third round and was the 42nd overall pick, going to the reigning MLS Champion Houston Dynamo. The pick was Houston's first of the afternoon. Cameron, a 2007 NSCAA All-Mid Atlantic Region First Team selection, received the Atlantic 10 Conference's inaugural Midfielder of the Year award this season, after tallying two goals and three assists. He also earned Preseason All-Conference honors.

Grazier was selected by the Colorado Rapids in the fourth round (47th overall) after participating in the 2008 MLS Combine. He played in 13 games this season and continued to act as a stabilizing force in the midfield as the Billikens posted a 12-2-5 record. In addition to effectively executing SLU's defensive scheme, he notched a career-high six points (1G, 4A). Grazier scored his first and only goal in a Billiken uniform in SLU's 2-1 victory against then-No. 2 Indiana on Sept. 15.

Borman was the seventh overall pick in the supplemental draft which was held on Jan. 25, going to the New York Red Bulls. A 2007 Preseason All-Conference player and Atlantic 10 second-team selection, he finished his senior campaign tied for second in the league with seven assists. He also tallied one goal - a game-winner - for a total of nine points on the season.

Tumicz went 34th overall in the supplemental draft to the Columbus Crew. He represented URI at the 2008 MLS Combine and led the A-10 this season with 27 points on a conference-best 12 goals and three assists.
