Jon Bell Tabbed Cross Country/Track & Field Head Coach At Saint Louis

6/19/2008 - Saint Louis University athletics announced today that Jon Bell will guide the cross country and track and field programs on a full-time basis. Bell had been serving as interim head coach of the programs for the past year.

DeRosa became just the third runner in program annals and first since Rebecca Donaghue in 1997 to win the A-10 individual title at the 2007 Cross Country Championships on Oct. 27...posted a winning time of 18:27...UMass finished sixth out of 14 teams.

Schneider finished sixth overall at the 2007 A-10 Cross Country Championships on Oct. 27 with a time of 18:46.0...was the top rookie finisher...Xavier placed third out of 14 teams, its highest-ever finish.

Slosky became the program's first-ever individual champion after crossing the finish line with a winning time of 25:39.0 on Oct. 27 at the A-10 Cross Country Championships...finished runner-up a year ago...Duquesne finished tied for third out of 14 teams.
