PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Rhode Island and Charlotte have been selected to win the 2007-08 Atlantic 10 Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships in voting conducted by the league's head coaches.
The Rhode Island men's 190 points beat out La Salle's 162 to capture the 2006-07 title, while the Charlotte women totaled 167 points, edging out Richmond with 110.
The 2008 Atlantic 10 Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held on Feb. 16, with the University of Rhode Island hosting.
